Security a-squared HiJackFree - detect and remove malware
The Emsisoft company offers this program and also an anti-malware scanner for free. I downloaded the HiJackFree program and I was pleased to find it doesn't require installation. You just double click to run it. It scans the system so fast that I didn't see any hesitation on it's displayed results. It displays more information on the system than most of my other scanners. It allows you to add, delete, and disable autorun entries. The best feature (for experts only) is that you can double click on most entries and they open up RegEdit so that you can modify or delete the entry. The "analyze" feature allows you to automatically upload all the information found (xml logfile) to their analysis website. This feature did not work for me and locked out all access to the internet. I was able to upload the xml logfile to their Logfile Analysis website manually and I found that their database isn't quite as good as I hoped.

Conclusion: This tool is for advanced users or pc security professionals as is stated at the website. I think this is a great program and I do hope that Emsisoft continues it's development. I would urge them to keep adding to their process database and work on the analysis website connectivity. I'm going to try and keep an eye on HiJackFree and I'm sure I'll keep a copy around for my own use. I'm also keeping an eye on X-RayPc Spyware Remover. I'll continue to use HiJackThis for debugging PC's.
