XCleaner Free - a not
so great antispy package from XBlockYou won't find this advertised on the
XBlock.com website anywhere. They offer this package and call it
"freeware" but it's actually a crippled version of the package they
want you to buy. Here's a quick list of the features that may or may
not be working. I tried the malware quick cleaning and it gave
me two false positives, however, I've seen some feedback that suggests it
does a pretty good job of cleaning some malware infections. Overall, I did
like most of the features that worked.
Cleaning - Works: many disabled features but

Inoculate - Works: a very good list of protections
Malware Scanner - Not functional: a "deep" file scanner
Shredder - Works: shreds files (for deleting private information)
Pictures - Not functional: quickly scan and remove old pictures from PC
Expert - Some work: gives access to msconfig, regedit, on screen keyboard
Extra - mostly useless junk and links the their website
Password - Works: a nice password generator
Update - Sort of works: only allows a one time update
Encyclopedia - Works: a nice spyware list with links to Spyware Guide

Conclusion: I wouldn't bother using it. I can
find real freeware that has those features. I'm sure the full package is
nice but I don't think this "freeware" offer is going to convince many
people to buy it. I did find a smaller version of this program called
XClean Micro that only has the quick malware scanner. It could actually be
