You have a new PC. You really should worry about spyware and other bad things.
Here's Microsoft's advice page on setting up a new PC.
Short version:
1. Turn on Internet Connection Firewall or have a good firewall in place before you connect to the Internet.
2. Make sure you have a good Anti-Virus Program running and update it every day if you can.
3. Scan often with Anti-Spyware tools such as Spybot and Adaware and keep them up to date.
4. Make sure you update Windows itself often or use the autoupdate feature.
To stay problem free remember to keep all your programs up to date.
