Help.com Firewall Basics - a free online class about firewalls

This online learning session just might help some of us figure out what a firewall is and how to use it for protection. The class starts April 25th. With a focus on Windows XP, the course explains what a firewall is and how it functions. Students will leave the course with an understanding of Internet security policies; common firewall configurations and uses; common security hacks; and firewalls' limitations in protecting against these hacks.
