I was at really cool looking freeware/shareware site and I saw an Internet Explorer toolbar program called Filebar that I might want to review. The toolbar was written specifcally for the website and sponsored by them. I downloaded it and did my typical scans on it. I then fired up my TUN and proceeded to install it. Lo and behold, my AVG screamed and my startup monitor hollered at me. I was very suprised. My protections had saved me from a program that was chock full of Spyware. I wrote the webmaster and got no response. I can only assume that they are fully aware of the crap they are trying to foist off on us. The bottom line is, I strongly warn everyone to stay away from this website. I also want to warn you to be very cautious about installing any toolbar program for Internet Explorer. Some of them are great, but many of them are spyware.
