Critical Mass - a
galaga like shootem up gameI tried out this game based on a tip from Brandon Watts. I
love the game, but I had to set the graphics at it's lowest to work
on my meager WinME system. Those of you with graphics cards will have no
problems. This is open source software from Sourceforge.net. I implicitly trust
anything from that site to be free and free of spyware.
Critical Mass (aka Critter) is an SDL/OpenGL space shoot'em up game.
It currently runs on Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. The latter is my main
development platform. Other platforms supported by SDL/OpenGL may also
work with a bit of work. (screenshot below)
