Cookie Viewer - what
cookies has your PC eaten? |
Karen Kenworthy has written this program to help you discover the
types of cookies on your PC and the information kept in them. The program
is small and installs easily. The interface is simple and easy to use.
When the program starts, it scans your PC for cookies and displays the
list in the program window. Once there, you can view the information in
the cookie and you can also delete the cookie. Often it's impossible to
tell exactly what the gibberish you see in the cookie means. Usually you
can tell if a cookie is from a site you like or if it's a cookie from an
advertising web server. Cookie Viewer is a very good program and it could
be useful to those of you who like to know what's going on in your
PC.
Quote from the website - Discover the information that web sites
store on your computer. This Power Tool automatically scans your computer,
looking for "cookies" created by Microsoft's Internet Explorer, Netscape's
Navigator and Mozilla Project's FireFox web browsers. It can then display
the data stored in each one. It can also delete any unwanted cookies
stored by these browsers. |
