Old Review
Darn it! It just makes me sick when I see
perfectly good freeware corrupted with spyware. I've tried out this
program and it works great. But, keep in mind it installs NavExcel and
NavHelper toolbar. These are considered spyware and although they may not
be really evil, they are not welcome on most peoples pc's. Burn4Free is
not trying to keep any secrets about the added spyware and during the
install you will see an agreement to install NavExcel. After I installed
Burn4Free, I ran the NavExcel uninstaller in the windows Add Remove
control panel, and then I ran Spybot S&D and Adaware and they both
removed a slew of components from NavExel. The toolbar was still in
Internet Explorer but then I used BHO Demon to disable it. So, if you are
fearlessly in control of your PC and you still want to try, this is usable
software. You just have to get rid of the stuff you don't want.
